Claim a mile

Pick one available mile, add your name, and donate whatever feels right on The Phoenix's official page. There is no set price, and every mile has exactly one sponsor.

Claiming reserves one mile and sends you straight to The Phoenix to donate any amount. The board cannot verify donations, so reservations run on the honor system.

What it unlocks — before race day

Nothing here happens mid-marathon. Every unlock happens before race day and is shared online.

Why he's doing this

One mile at a time. That's how recovery works. That's how running works too.

I'm running and raising for the 48 campaign because I know what happens when someone has a community that runs alongside them. The miles get easier. The hard days get survivable. The wins start to stack.

The Phoenix's mission is to build a sober active community that fuels resilience through the transformational power of connection. Its free activities — running, lifting, climbing, riding, and more — give people in recovery a place to belong. There are no dues and no judgment: just 48 hours of sobriety and the willingness to show up.
